ALL YEAR | Welcoming Volunteer (by Grade)
Be a resource and to families in your student's grade. Welcome new families and create opportunities to get together
ALL YEAR | Event Support
Support our VP of Events at a few small events throughout the year.
ALL YEAR | Dogwood Dads
Calling all Dogwood DADs—we need you! We're looking for fathers and Father-figures of Dogwood students to help with car line (first week of school), serve as security at PTO Events and be available for event set-up/tear-down as needed. This opportunity offers convenient and flexible times with no major commitment.
ALL YEAR | Teacher Appreciation & Teacher Treats
Help with occasional teacher meals and "Welcome Back" breakfast. Heavily needed during Teacher Appreciation Week in April.
ALL YEAR | Miscellaneous Opportunities
Want to be available where/when there is a need? We'd love to be able to reach out to you on an as-needed basis.
SEPTEMBER | Dol-FUN Family Night
Assist with event set-up and clean-up.
NOVEMBER | Book Fair
We need helpers that can assist families navigating the book fair as well as coordinating with teachers for their wish lists.
JANUARY | Father/Daughter Event
Help with event set-up the Friday night before the event and event tear-down the Sunday after the event. Also need people to be available during the event to help with refreshments etc.
FEBRUARY | Mother/Son Event
Help set-up or tear-down during our annual event for mothers (or other significant female-role model) and their son(s).
MARCH/APRIL | DolphinFest
Support the many event tasks. Silent auction (baskets, data entry, and corporate sponsors), concessions (pre-order, set-up and sales), games (set-up and assisting with games), t-shirts (sales and distribution) and ticket sales before and during the event. Additionally need volunteers to help with set-up the day before the event, and tear-down the afternoon of the event.
APRIL | Fine Arts Night
Help organize and coordinate programs throughout the year and support the Spring Fine Arts Night. Open to ideas for new performances and programs.
MAY | Field Day
We need parent volunteers to ensure the events run smoothly. Consider donating either a half or full day of your time when your children aren't competing.
